Anit-Aging Medicine - Age Is Just A Number

  • Hormone Optimization

Hormones play a major role in the aging process. As we age, our levels of estrogen, progesterone, DHEA & testosterone begin to decline which causes a cascade of changes. Hormone optimization seeks to restore our hormone levels to a more youthful time.

  • Nutrition Solutions and Nutraceuticals

The food we put into our bodies can either help our cells regenerate and survive, or it can cause cellular damage which advances the aging process. Healthy eating can help slow this process. Nutraceuticals are vitamins/minerals that can help.

Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement

How does bio-identical hormone replacement work?

When you ask Dr. Johnson about bio-identical hormone replacement she will explain first why she believes bio-identical hormones are safer and more natural than synthetic hormones. Once this groundwork has been laid, you will have a blood test to determine your individual hormone levels. At this time you will meet again with Dr. Johnson to formulate a program to optimize your selected hormone levels back to baseline. Once you have started your program you will meet periodically for retesting and discussions of your progress.
